Video Summary
This surgical video demonstrates a minimally invasive, fertility-sparing radical trachelectomy performed on a 24-year-old woman with a 1B1 cervical cancer lesion. Using robotic-assisted techniques, sentinel lymph node mapping and dissection were performed to check for metastasis. The uterus, parametria, cervix, and upper vagina were carefully dissected and removed, preserving the uterus for fertility. Frozen sections confirmed tumor-free margins, and a cerclage was placed to support future pregnancy. Pathology showed a small residual tumor with clear margins and negative lymph nodes. The procedure successfully maintained uterine health and fertility potential while addressing the cancer.
