Video Summary
A 52-year-old Korean woman with FIGO stage 3c ovarian cancer underwent laparoscopic primary optimal debulking surgery and 12 cycles of paclitaxel-carboplatin chemotherapy, achieving no evidence of disease (NED) for six months. Recurrence was detected by elevated CA125 and PET-CT. Secondary surgery involved LAVH with BSO, lymphadenectomy, diaphragm resection, and omentectomy, followed by another 12 chemotherapy cycles. Later, laparoscopic secondary cytoreductive surgery removed metastatic lymph nodes and nodules on the cecum, with bowel repair. She continues chemotherapy with stable disease.
