Video Summary
This video presents a case of a patient who underwent single-port robotic hysterectomy nine years after a multi-port robotic radical trachelectomy for stage 1A1 cervical adenocarcinoma. Initially treated in 2013 with no residual disease post-op, the patient developed recurrent adenocarcinoma detected via pap smear in 2021. Using the DAVINCI SP system, surgeons performed hysterectomy and bilateral salpingectomy despite adhesions from prior surgery. Challenges included adhesions between the uterus and bladder and absence of the cervix, requiring careful dissection. The procedure was completed safely with minimal blood loss. The case shows single-port robotic surgery is feasible and safe after prior multi-port trachelectomy.
